Direct answerA controlled humidifier OEM project moves through written requirements, feasibility review, model and configuration freeze, sample verification, document and artwork approval, pilot confirmation and production release. Price or appearance approval alone is not a production specification.

Stage 1: define the purchasing requirement

Stage 2: feasibility and configuration freeze

The supplier should identify an applicable base model, proposed changes, open technical questions and evidence gaps. Freeze the quoted power input, plug, control board, radio module, accessories and key materials before treating a quotation or document set as final.

Stage 3: sample and evidence review

  1. Assign each sample an identifier and configuration record.
  2. Test critical requirements using written methods and acceptance limits.
  3. Build a model–document matrix for the destination market.
  4. Record deviations, corrections, retests and unresolved data.
  5. Approve the retained reference sample only after required evidence is complete.

Stage 4: artwork, pilot and production release
